WC itself,not so much. I think spybot is the best, I also have adaware 2007 and spywareblaster, Nod32 antivirus and use Windows firewall.  All are free except the Nod32.  I make sure I empty my cache and go through my cookies and delete the one's I am not subscribed to before I run it.  So far they all have worked pretty well although the new Adaware 2007 always finds 2 MRU (most recently used) which are harmless. Usually it is the last url typed.
