That docklet was designed for ObjectDock, not RocketDock . . I'm not sure if it'll work the same.

The ObjectDock Weather docklet doesn't work for me either. I have put the Weather folder in C:\Program Files\RocketDock\docklets. I added the docklet to RocketDock and it comes up, but there is no way to configure it. When I click on it no configuration interface comes up. When I double-click on it it takes me to weather.com.

is there anyway to get rid of the label background for mouseover?

If you made an transparent png and put it in the background folder it'd disappear.

You don't add more icons to IconX. You add icons to yoru desktop and they are IconX-ified.

I started IconX and load a theme . . and all my desktop icons are IconX'd
Open up Windows Explorer and drag a few shortcuts to the desktop . . they get IconX'd.

The last tab of the config adjusts what default icons are displayed.

You are using XP, right?

IconX should convert any and all icons on the default desktop to IconX icons.

The easiest thing to do is go through your folders, right click the folder, go to Send To, then select Desktop (Creat Shortcut) Rick.

Actually It's the other way around! I've been using IE7. I just checked,with FF3 I can vote!!!! I cleared history,temps and cookies in IE7,still can't rate.(Yeah,I know I don't rate much,another story,lol)P.S. Froggy = 5, got some catching up to do.

Last post on IE7, this on FF3b5.Forum page loads are at least 20% faster.Biggest improvement is loading gallery.Thumbs almost load up with the page ,instead of waiting on them. Got spell check too, some people here could use that.

Yes, and I'm pretty pleased with it,no bugs as of yet,but not all plug-ins are supported.Faster than IE7,a good download manager,too Btw, Am I the only person that can't rate a skin? It's been 8-9 days.I need to get out and vote.

I Agree. At times going page by page in the gallery is painfully slow, same with forum pages. WC itself,not so much. FF3b5 is much faster than IE7 just about everywhere.

JPG's do lose quality, but it's nothing too bad. Only really bad for its distortion of lines. Unless you're saving it multiple times, you shouldn't have too great a problem. Plus, they're tiny, making it better.

best format for wallpaper is obviously jpeg.........you can either include the wallpaper in yr wb or have it seperated and release it as a wallpaper (if you think it is good enough to be a stand alone wallpaper)

The pic above looks like a problem caused by a third party toolbar extension. Unload any of those (EG: Styler).. you maybe using and see if its still doing that.. just straight WB.. no add ons.

vStyler is right he hlped me fix this in my Silex WB !It has to do with the toolbar button and the diabled collor in the classic colors sec.

It cant really be disabled but the arrow trick kitty is talking about will work
But after taking a look at the skin the "more programs background" has 3 frames
This should be only 11 So edit the image by cutting off the last 2 and change the frame count to 1.
Then follow kitty's direction on the arrow I would take a copy of the "more programs background" turn into 3states.to make the new arrow!

you can add an arrow thats the same size as the allprograms background but in 3 states, then toggle with the all progs margin so it sits perfectly on top of the all progs background, so when you mouse over it, you only get yr design showing.

for example : all progs background is 120 wide so yr arrow will be 120x3 in size, first state is normal the second and third are mouse over

the left hand margin is the one to toggle with.....has to be a negative number for it to work. if you mouse over it and it still moves....its still out of wack, keep tweaking until you have no movement.

as to your first problem.......that colour is :menu highlight found in skinstudio/miscellanious/colours/menu/menu highlight

What theme? That's a theme setting. If the author built it that way, you would have to use Skin Studio.

That's odd. I've had both of those for months with no problems,musta been a bum download or some other issue. adni18 made AlphaGalaxy along with other WC goodies, none of it "junk files or malware" If you got those here,the chance of malware is slim to none.

Stardock has nothing to do with screensavers, WC just hosts them. Have you tried running the exe? Perhaps it's a self-installer.

I have it also, it seems to work pretty well but it is usually the last one I use. I think spybot is the best, I also have adaware 2007 and spywareblaster, Nod32 antivirus and use Windows firewall. All are free except the Nod32. I make sure I empty my cache and go through my cookies and delete the one's I am not subscribed to before I run it. So far they all have worked pretty well although the new Adaware 2007 always finds 2 MRU (most recently used) which are harmless. Usually it is the last url typed. The teatimer in the new spybot takes a little getting used to, at least for me it did.
I hate making decisions and am self taught so that explains a lot.

to hear that it didn't find anything If you are using XP then I suggest setting a restore point now you know your system is clean.

I beg to differ,"system no restore" happens all to often which is why i gave up & turned it off & now use this instead,it will revert your registry regardless any changes or not,if you've never had the "choose another restore point nonsense" then you've been extremely lucky,no doubt you would'nt be comfortable about turning restore points off,i was the same but now i have no prob whatso ever,use it in conjuntion you can thank me later

Back on topic: in regards to antivirus & spyware scanners,it seems my fully patched OS is doing it's job coz neither software find anything ever apart from the usual login cookies,quite frankly if all you do is visit the same sites all the time you could more than likley dump both & if you decide to venture to a new site or just general surfing there's always returnil ,http://www.returnilvirtualsystem.com/ ,it works quite well & does'nt give me issues like sandboxie does ,it's quite good for me since i'm always surfing & trying out & installing freebies so it allows me to install as much as i want without stufing up the registry with more junk,the only downside is if a ware needs a reboot all changes are lost..lol..
