ok, so where would i unzip these icons in objectdock plus folder, which folder?...thank you

I would unzip them into a completely new folder. Then rename the folder to the iconpackager name and then place that folder into the ObjectDock folder or Images folder. Organization of folders is up to you. As long as you have it in the main ObjectDock folder or in the ObjectDock Library folder located in "My Documents" then it will show in the library for selection to use.

can't get icons from iconpackager to work in object dock. the only one i can zip into a new folder in objectdock is alphadista from the icon packs i have. the rest of my icon packs have iconpackager icon and a icl file in the zip. even when i unzip these into new objectdock folder, just these two files are there but no icons....thanks

What I do is use Axialis Iconworkshop. I load up the .icl in that and then can save each individual icon from the pack (there's probably a way to do it in a batch but I haven't figured that out).

Icon Packager can do it easy. Make sure under Settings you have 'Save package as individual icons' checked, then under 'Packages' select the one you want and then go 'File' > 'Save Package as', select a location and name the 'ok' and that's it, you're done! You now have a folder full of just icons

If the icons are in icon libraries (.icl), the individual icons need to be extracted. I use IconDeveloper, but Fuzzy's suggestion is great, and something I'd never considered.

To get the entire icon pack, open IconPackager > highlight the IconPackage you want to use > right-click > select "zip package" > name the file (which will be a .ip extension) > then save it to whereever > now go to that file and Rename it from a .ip to a .zip. Now extract the icons. Just remember to put the .zip in a new folder before extraction so you don't have to cut/paste all those icons somewhere else.

Jinxjx: this has been tested on five ip's and all icons were there, so it should work for you. Good luck
