Yes you can have a dock with just the system tray and running tasks on it. I believe this requires Object Dock Plus

The Systray does require OD+...I don't think that the task bar does though?

Help....

I have object dock plus... and it doesn't seem I can get my System Tray stuff to show up...

Also HOW does one Access the FLY OUT Menus??? its one of the reasons I got OD+

also..

I am debating on wether to COVER up my Task bar that I paid for WB 5.5 For...

I like that OD can support multiple docks..

Still workin on how to best use OD and WB ...

THanks for any Advice..

NON-TABBED DOCK & Sleeping Laptop/Desktop behavior: Wakes up; mouseover dock icons near cursor become visible and expand. The rest of the dock is empty until actual mouseover of each invisible icon - that makes them visible.
BIGGEST HEADACHE: does NOT stay ON-TOP (unreliable delay feature). Since I use multiple programs at once at FULL SCREEN, I have to click SHOW DESKTOP -or- {Win}{D} to access the Doc Bar; this should be the first BUG-FIX.
BEST "Hidden" FEATURE is the FLYOUT MENU - CUSTOM items!!! You can put whatever you want in the flyout, not just folders. I knew there had to be a way; took me hours to figure just what CUSTOM meant. Here's how: {ADD} {FlyoutMenu} {CustomMenu}; loop {ADD}{Browse} optional{RENAME} endloop until all entities are included. Default was {ADD} {Folder} {Browse}.
WEAKEST feature: default icon folder does NOT allow you to view icons in larger sizes. Packages of icons (purchased) like Apogee (love it) have many similar icons. I put the package folder in the default folder to readily access both sets. {Just found an untried IMPORT package feature moments ago}.
WORST feature - "Hidden Button" (in plain sight): selecting icons OUTSIDE the default folder uses an UNLIT BAR BUTTON that says BROWSE FOR AN IMAGE beneath a folder navigation tree. Only recognized this as a button after an accidental mouseover many days and hours after using the program trying to access other icons. Turns out, the button LOOK is a function of the Windowblinds Skin I was using at the time.
BEST HELP: before I bought the OBJECT DOCK PLUS package, I watched the video demonstration at https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/.
Scroll down to...

Clicking, you see a refreshing, relaxed "live" demo with down-home narration of OBJECT DOCK PLUS. Takes about 22 minutes.

AnneMarie

Do you have the Stardock Central Browser installed?

If so, in: tools > settings > general
do you have 'enable mcp notification area support' checked?

I am using Vista Home Premium
and um No I don't have the stardock Browser installed...

Should I?
I can seem to watch tutorials fine and all...

and
OD+ seems to work quite well on my Vista

The system tray isn't compatible with Vista in 1.5.
1.6 should be out soon and will work.
